OPI’s new Muse of Milano Collection allows you to have at your fingertips the cultural, culinary and fashion wonders of Milan, a valiant and passionate city.
“For over two decades, OPI has been taking women around the world by introducing them to the trendiest locations thanks to its collections. When we first conceptualized this collection, we went to Milan for inspiration. We ate fresh pasta, spent hours walking the streets of the city and drank Campari and orange juice while trying out the incredible street style. We had no idea of the difficulties and changes that Milan would soon face due to the global pandemic, ”explains Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, co-founder and ambassador of the OPI brand. “With this collection, we proudly support and honor Milan, a magical city that has shown its loving and unstoppable spirit even in the most difficult period of this lockdown”.
Muse of Milan, the new collection for this autumn, is made up of 12 shades, all coordinated in the three different systems GelColor (semi-permanent), Infinite Shine (long-lasting nail polish), and Nail Lacquer (traditional nail polish). The modern variations of vintage-inspired shades range from warm taupe to burnt orange, terracotta, and dark teal to give the nails a retro touch, while classic denim blues are reinvented with shades ranging from ice blue to peacock blue. The gray and shiny steel, typical of Milan’s industries, comes together to inspire the shades of gunmetal with and without glitters. Floral tones in dark and rich variations of iris, lilac, heather, and mulberry complete this trendy collection.
“We believe in the transformative power of color “, observes Jill Bartoshevich, global director of color collections at OPI.” This collection offers a fresh, romantic and trendy palette, which brings to life the mundane energy of Milan and celebrates a city and a culture so unique”.
