For over 35 years, Sifarma has supported professionals in the aesthetic and dermatological sectors, offering specialist expertise and a full range of personalized services. Founded in 1990, the company celebrated its 35th anniversary in July 2025, reflecting on the challenges, successes, and milestones achieved along the way.
The company has always believed in strong and long-lasting partnerships, focused on a shared goal: promoting health, well-being, and the satisfaction of the end consumer.

Training


At our Milan headquarters, the Sifarma Academy is active as a dedicated training center offering both theoretical and practical courses across all brands in the portfolio. Trainers develop and deliver educational programs covering different product categories, while on the field a network of beauty consultants and beauty coaches supports clients through demonstrations, ongoing training, in-store sell-out days, product presentation events, and continuous updates. In this way, Sifarma ensures constant support and contributes to the professional growth of its partners.

Our history

1989 – The foundation

Sifarma was founded in 1989 by the Berchi family, a father and his pharmacist sons, and began its distribution activity by dealing with pharmaceutical products under a sales concession model.

1990-2023 - PIER AUGÈ

Sifarma takes on the distribution in Italy of the French cosmetics brand Pier Augé.

1995-2014 - DECLÉOR

A few years later, Decléor was added to the portfolio, a brand now part of the multinational L’Oréal group.

1998 - CANOVA

Sifarma acquires Canova, a dermocosmetic line intended for treatments prescribed by dermatologists.

1999 - DERMATROPHINE

The portfolio expanded in 1999 with the acquisition of the Dermatrophine brand, a cosmetics company belonging to the pharmaceutical group Fidia, through which Sifarma entered the selective perfumery channel.

2004 - PAYOT

The Spanish group Puig entrusted Sifarma with the distribution of Payot. This further enriched the perfumery channel with another prestigious brand.

2005-2020 - PERGAM

Sifarma expands its portfolio with Pergam, a dermocosmetic line designed for use under dermatological prescription and distributed in pharmacies.

2009-2025 - MARBERT

Sifarma acquires the distribution rights for Marbert, a German cosmetics brand from the Straub group, well known and widely distributed in the perfumery channel.

2014 - OPI

In January 2014, Sifarma began distributing OPI, an American brand owned by Coty and a leader in nail and hand care.

2015 - DERMATROPHINE PRO

Sifarma launches its new proprietary line Dermatrophine PRO, “not just another product,” dedicated exclusively to the professional channel, with distribution in the Italian market starting in September 2015.

2018 - PLINSKY & FRANKIE GARAGE

Since 2018, the Plinsky and Frankie Garage lines have been part of Sifarma’s fragrance portfolio under exclusive license for global production and distribution.

2020 - ENRICO COVERI

Since 2020, Sifarma has held the license for the worldwide production and distribution of Enrico Coveri fragrances, with the aim of strengthening the presence of this historic franchise in the global market and enriching it with modern and innovative proposals.

2020 & 2023 - MORRIS

Since 2020, Sifarma has been the worldwide distributor of the historic Italian fragrance brand Morris. In 2023, Sifarma acquired the Morris brand, introducing trend-driven launches.

2022 - BASILE & BURANI

In 2022, Sifarma signed licensing agreements for the fragrances of the Basile and Burani brands, expanding its portfolio in the perfumery sector.

2024 - GUINOT, MARY COHR & MASTERS COLORS

Since October 2024, Sifarma has obtained the distribution rights for Italy of the French brands Guinot, Mary Cohr, and Masters of Colors, strengthening its presence in the professional channel.
